This full-day food safety course provides comprehensive training on safe food handling practices and prepares participants for the food safety certification exam. Topics include preventing foodborne illness, forms of contamination, personal hygiene, and the complete flow of food from purchasing and receiving through preparation and service. The course also covers food safety management systems, facility safety, pest control, and proper cleaning and sanitizing procedures. Instruction is delivered through presentations, videos, chapter quizzes, and interactive review activities, followed by a proctored certification exam.
