Each instructor is a current CDL holder that falls into the federal mandate of holding their CDL for at least 2 years.
The Class A CDL Entry Level Driver Training course consists of 2 phases required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration: online theory and hands-on instruction. The online portion is completed at the student's own pace prior to the start of the hands-on training portion. Class A CDL hands-on consists of pretrip, range skills, and driving skills. The Class A can be completed with a manual or automatic vehicle. This course is designed for the student who has prior experience with a combination vehicle, which may not have been a Class A vehicle, either through previous personal experience or on-the-job seat time with a current CDL holder. This course satisfies the Entry Level Driver Training requirements from the federal government.
The student must obtain the permit from Indiana's BMV for the class of CDL they are wishing to train for, this includes having a current CDL physical on file with the state. Student must have access to a vehicle representative of the class of license that they wish to train for. We are on-site providers (traveling providers wtih the Federal Motor Carrier Administration's provider list), meaning we utilize the equipment of the student or student's employer allowing for them to have more familiarity and ease of training.
