Description

Baraka Academy instructors must meet all applicable federal and State of Indiana qualification requirements for the instruction they provide. Behind-the-wheel instructors must possess the appropriate Commercial Driver's License and applicable endorsements for the vehicle and type of training being provided and must satisfy applicable instructor experience and qualification requirements.

Faculty must demonstrate competency in the subjects they teach, including commercial motor vehicle safety, applicable federal and state regulations, vehicle systems, pre-trip inspection, air-brake procedures, basic vehicle control, range operations, and other assigned commercial driver training competencies.

Baraka Academy maintains documentation of instructor qualifications and requires instructors to maintain all licenses, credentials, medical qualifications, and other documentation applicable to their instructional responsibilities.

Baraka Academy’s CDL Training Program provides practical instruction for individuals seeking to earn their Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or complete CDL recertification. The program is designed to prepare participants with the knowledge, skills, and hands-on training needed to operate commercial vehicles safely, meet applicable licensing requirements, and return to the workforce with confidence.
