Associate degree or higher in the applicable subject area; or at least two years of practical experience in the applicable field combined with professional licensure or an industry-recognized certification.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of enrollment and possess a high school diploma or recognized equivalent (GED or HiSET). Applicants must complete the ACCUPLACER assessment prior to enrollment to evaluate their reading, writing, and mathematics readiness. Assessment results may be used to identify areas in which additional academic support may be appropriate. Applicants must also have access to a laptop or desktop computer, reliable broadband internet, and a working webcam and microphone. Basic proficiency with web-based platforms is expected, and mobile-only access is not sufficient. An admissions interview is required prior to acceptance. Verification of high school completion must be provided before enrollment.

Application deadlines occur three times each year, on the third Wednesday of October, February, and June. The application deadlines for the 2026–2027 enrollment cycle are October 21, 2026; February 17, 2027; and June 16, 2027. This schedule will continue annually, with specific dates established according to the third Wednesday of October, February, and June.
