Our instructor is licensed dental hygienist in State of Indiana. Any hygientist with a license in state of Indiana is allowed to tecah this course at our facility as long as they have two years experience as licensed hygientist.
Program offers 7 hours of clinical and didactic education required by the Indiana Board of Dentistry for certification in coronal polishing.( 828 IAC 6-1-2). This course will include
Oral anatomy
Tooth morphology
Indications, contraindications , risks and complications for coronal polishing
Students must be current Dental Assistants employed for minimum of 1 year in Dental office. This is a requirement by the Indiana State Borad of Dentistry
