The Film Producer Training Program offered by Boss Lady Media (Indianapolis, IN) is an intensive six-week workforce development initiative designed to prepare participants for in-demand careers in film, television, and digital media production. This hands-on program blends creative development with business strategy, providing students with real-world producer skills needed to plan, finance, manage, and distribute professional film projects.
Participants gain direct experience through interactive workshops, including budgeting, scheduling, location management, post-production coordination, marketing, and distribution strategy. Each trainee develops a complete Producer’s Portfolio—featuring a film budget, call sheets, marketing plan, and pitch deck—used to demonstrate readiness for industry employment or independent content creation.
The program includes: lectures, workshops, guest speakers, hands-on assignments and will get to produce an actual project once training is completed. The curriculum emphasizes both traditional and emerging media production skills, preparing graduates for roles such as Assistant Producer, Line Producer, Production Coordinator, Post-Production Supervisor, or Independent Filmmaker. The program supports the growth of Indiana’s creative economy by developing a pipeline of production-ready talent equipped to contribute to the region’s expanding film and digital content industry.
