Instructor is certified in SMAW. GMAW, FCAW, GTAW welding process. Instructoe has 35 years expericence within the welding industry and 24 years as an instructor.
This hands-on course prepares students to pass the AWS 1G Certified Welder Examination using the 7018 electrodes in the flat (1G) position. Emphasis is placed on safe work practices, electrode selection, machine setup, joint preparation, welding techniques, and weld quality inspection. By course end, students will complete a practice weld test under test-like conditions and be eligible to take the AWS 1G certification.
