This program prepares current and future IT professionals for a career in cybersecurity, with a focus on “defensive” strategies to protect an organization from risk. Additionally, students are trained in the proper response to threats and attacks by applying environmental reconnaissance techniques like OS fingerprinting, e-mail harvesting, and social media profiling using tools such as Nmap, Netstat, and syslog.
