Description

Instructor Qualifications:The instructors are required to be certified NCCER Construction Craft Laborer Instructors, holding current certifications at the level they are teaching. To maintain their NCCER Instructor certification, they must have Registration of Training Modules approved by NCCER before the expiration of the Instructor Certification Training Program (ICTP), which extends their certification for an additional three years from the completion date on the Registration of Training Modules. Additionally, all instructors possess a minimum of 15 years of experience at the journeyman level or above and/or hold a license as general contractors.

Basic Literacy and Numeracy Skills: Participants should possess basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills to comprehend course materials, safety guidelines, and technical instructions presented during the program. Physical Fitness and Ability: The construction industry demands physical stamina and the ability to engage in manual labor. Participants should be in reasonably good health and able to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Commitment to Safety: Construction sites prioritize safety above all else. Participants must demonstrate a commitment to following safety protocols, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and adhering to safety guidelines throughout the program. Our program consist of experienced craft tradesman and requires a CORE as a prerequisite. Students may test out of CORE with a passing score of 70 and can confirm their documented work experience.
