This 4-week course prepares you for the CompTIA Security+ certification exam. Gaining this certification shows that you have the baseline skills necessary to perform core security functions and pursue an IT security career. CompTIA Security+ is a global certification that validates the baseline skills necessary to perform core security functions and pursue an IT security career. This course will cover attacks, threats and vulnerabilities, architecture and design, implementation, operations and incident response, and governance, risk and compliance. Students will receive hands-on experience through online labs, activities, assessments, projects, and challenging scenario-based exercises that reinforce curriculum topics. Upon completion, you will be ready to: Sit for the CompTIA Security+ exam and shows: Assess security posture and implement security solutions Monitor and secure hybrid environments, including cloud, mobile and IoT Operate with an awareness of applicable laws and policies Identify, analyze, and respond to security events and incidents
Recommended: Have earned the CompTIA Network+ and two years’ experience in IT administration with a security focus
