Description

QMA instructors are Registered Nurse's who have earned the Train the Trainer certificate which enables them to teach this course.

The program is designed to prepare the student to take the qualified medication aide exam at the conclusion of the class and practicum hours. The class will also prepare the student to be an insulin certified QMA, which can be obtained after first passing the QMA exam. The class is designed to be 9, eight hour days, over the course of four weeks so that students may continue to work.

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Each student must have a minimum of 1,000 hours worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the past 24 consecutive months.
